👉 NordVPN vs Surfshark Speed Test - In this video I compare and contrast the speeds of both NordVPN and Surfshark, so that you may have a better idea of which VPN could be the right choice for you and your situation.
How's it going everybody? Welcome back. Today we're going to be taking a look at the speed test results here between Nord VPN and surf shark, we're going to be comparing both. And just to give you guys a little bit of an idea of which one could be the best choice for you. And you know, based on these results, hopefully you can make a more educated decision as to which one could be the better one, at least for your situation. So before we begin, if you guys are interested in either Nord or surf shark, you'll find links to special deals and discounts in the description down below, as well as a full review if you'd like to learn more about either of these VPNs. Now, just to offer a little bit of a reference, anything between five and 25%, decrease in speed, it's considered to be very, very fast, most VPNs will struggle to keep up with these VPNs, as I've tested a whole lot of other VPNs. And they consistently give me speed decreases of, you know, over over 20, at least over 2030, sometimes up to 60% decrease in speed. So yeah, we're going to go ahead and take a look what these VPNs are giving me Of course, take it with a grain of salt each, you know, speed tests will vary depends on the server you're connecting to, it depends on your own network and how good your internet connection is, or using an Ethernet cable, or are you on Wi Fi, the distance between you and the server you're connecting to, there are multiple factors that affect the speed tests. And of course, the servers we're using for the test so many things that affect these tests. So take it with a grain of salt, this is just supposed to give you a rough idea of which VPN performs better than the other. And of course, I'm somewhere in the in this region. So I'm near Europe, it I essentially when I connect when I game, I do connect to European servers. And that's why you'll find that my European results are actually better when I connect European servers, I get better speeds than when connecting to faraway servers. So I tested a server in the middle, which is Swiss server, the Swiss server in Switzerland, I tested the East Coast, New York server, and I tested the Japanese server and here are the results. My speed, of course, without a VPN is at 5.72 megabits per second, nothing impressive, I can't really afford any more decreases in my speed. So let's go ahead and check it out with Nord VPN at four point 91 megabits per second, which is a 14 point 16% decrease in speed, with Surf shark at four point 79 megabits per second, which translates into a 16 point 25% decrease in speed. And this is so it seems like Nord VPN is 2% faster in this case.
