Find out how to import files with Scheduled Tasks in Sellercloud. Scheduled tasks allow you to automate certain tasks and set them to recur at specific intervals. This can include tasks such as importing information, generating picklists, and exporting information.
In this video, we will go over how to schedule an import task via FTP, HTTP, and email.
Schedule an import task via FTP
► Select the Task Type and fill in the appropriate information.
► Choose the correct Plugin from the dropdown menu.
► In the Import From field, select FTP.
► Enter the FTP credentials.
► Specify the correct FTP Directory.
► Enter the FTP FileName and choose to load multiple files into one folder with an asterisk.
► Choose to delete or archive the file after processing.
► Enable the Use Passive function if needed.
► Click Save.
Schedule an import task via HTTP:
► Select the Task Type and fill in the appropriate information
► Choose the correct Plugin from the dropdown menu
► In the Import From field, select HTTP
► Enter the HTTP URL and save the task
To schedule an import task via email
► Select the Task Type and fill in the appropriate information
► Enable IMAP in your email account settings
► From the Import From dropdown, select Email
► Fill out your credentials and configure the server/port
► Enable Server is IMAP, and My Server requires SSL connection
► Check Delete Email After Processing if desired
► Click the Test Email icon to confirm your connection, and then click Save
