Desmos in Texas - Instructional Webinar
Calling all educators new to Desmos in Texas! Participants in this webinar will learn ways to use the Desmos Graphing Calculator and Desmos Classroom for instruction. They will see different examples of how the calculator’s visual and dynamic features help students make connections across multiple representations and deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts. They will see more instructional examples within the Desmos Classroom (teacher.desmos.com) to introduce participants to both the student and teacher perspective of running an activity. Lastly, we'll touch on how Desmos is approved as a calculator option for STAAR testing in SY20-21.
