Framing Log Cabin Roof Alone Nearly Broke Me (literally) (Bluetti AC200MAX saved my sanity)
Framing a roof sure is challenging, especially when you're working along. Throw in the fact that the lumber is freshly-sawn and full of water weight and you've got a receipt for disaster when working at heights. Don't remind me of this as I climb up the later while precariously holding onto the 16 foot ridge board. If something is going to go wrong today is the day for that. Let's just hope this roof goes up without too much trouble as I"ve got a long ways to go once the rafters are up. As you'll see in today's video, half the trouble was getting reliable electricity to my remote off-grid build location. My used-to-be trusty gas generator has now been put out to pasture after letting me down for about the 10th time. Fortunately for me the Bluetti AC200MAX portable power station saves the day as I use it for the very first time to power all of my tools. I'm a bit skeptical to say the least as I've never used an entirely electric power source but I won't learn knew things unless I try them. Here goes nothing!
