Welcome back to San Joaquin audits, todays video is an odd one, I’ve honestly never seen an interaction like this one up until now, it comes to you from the channel ira: panhandler.
In this video he’s stopped by Officer McCoy of the Palm Bay police department because he is…missing.
The officer still insists on obtaining this alleged missing persons ID because, well because he’s a cop and that’s just what they do I guess
So unfortunately the audio cuts out on the original video so we can’t hear the rest of this conversation. But it’s not illegal for an adult to go missing if he or she chooses to do so.
A problem with police officers that a lot of people don’t address is the fact that officers swear under oath to uphold the constitution but they’re not required to study it, even as they raise their right hand they’re just nodding in agreement to something someone else is telling them. If they knew and studied the constitution they would know that this man has a 4th amendment right to be secure without giving up ID because being missing isn’t a crime
