2JZ Tuesday #5 - How to calculate engine displacement/ Engine CC
Hi guys, welcome to another 2JZ Tuesday series. My name is Michael Chung and today I want to share with you guys about how to calculate engine displacement, whether you are having aftermarket pistons, stroker kits, 1JZ, 2JZ or other engines; if you have the piston diameter and its stroke as well.
So you are guessing your engine displacement or your engine CC? Why not calculate them yourself! =D Simple maths / formula of a cylinder and you are good to go. But I have added a few more things too; I have also explained about what is over squared engine, square engine and their differences too. After this video you will understand over square engines vs square engine, and why we want certain designs to suit our preference.
One more tip about the difference between 1JZ and 2JZ pistons, although they are both sharing the same piston diameter, which is 86mm.
