Battleborn Servers Shutting down
Battleborn was a team based online fps title that was released in 2016 by Gearbox Software, and published by 2K Games. It was a title that overall got mixed reviews, and was sometimes compared to games like Overwatch, some even calling it an Overwatch clone. But the game did have a small following all things considered that is until now. The developers and 2K announced on November 25, 2019, that they will be shutting down the servers in 2021, and subsequently removing the game from digital stores very soon. You will no longer be able to purchase virtual currency after February of next year, and all servers will deactivate entirely, you won’t be able to play the game at all basically. While this title was not a very popular one, it did have a niche community, and there will be some fans that will be sad to see it go.
Whether you like the game or not, you have to give credit to the creator, and developers that put hard work into making the game, and sometimes a game inevitably reaches its shelf life, and must be taken down. It happens now, and then and continues to happen to this day.
