Ethiopian Diary #02 - Addis-Ababa, Day 2: Pushkin, Haile Selassie and coffee beans (02/10)
In the second series of our film Sergei will continue to show us around Addis-Abbaba, Ethiopia's capital. We shall visit the Curch of the Holy Trinity, the burial place of the last Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie I, aka Ras Tafari Mekonnyn, a direct descendant of the legendary King Solomon. The Rastafarian Religion considers him to be the embodiment of the god Jah. We shall also see a monument to the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, the only one of it's kind in Africa. And also, stay tuned for a story about black coffee beans, which turnes out to be originating from Ethiopia.
