The Three Buttons Apple Never Had the Guts to Remove
25 years ago, Steve Jobs put three candy-colored buttons in the corner of every Mac window. Almost everything around them has been redesigned, replaced, or quietly killed. They are still there - and in 2025 Apple even moved them onto the iPad.
