SentinelAI is an AI-driven Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) designed to monitor network traffic and detect suspicious or malicious activities in real time.
Modern networks face continuous threats such as brute-force login attempts, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, data exfiltration, and unauthorized access attempts. Traditional rule-based firewalls and signature-based detection systems struggle to identify new and evolving attack patterns.
This project leverages Machine Learning–based anomaly detection to learn normal network behavior and automatically identify deviations that may indicate cyber threats.
