What actually happens when your Flutter app reads a translation?
This technical walkthrough follows the ReRune SDK from its generated localization overlay to manifest requests, versioned locale downloads, persistent storage, and in-memory text resolution.
We look at full and delta updates, ETags, per-key fallback, placeholders, plurals, content variants, Flutter rebuilds, and runtime language availability. Then we follow a failed update, the next retry, stale-manifest recovery, concurrent checks, and an offline restart.
The examples use Flutter SDK 1.1.0. Controlled request and cache sequences were executed with the real SDK controller, parser, HTTP clients, and native IO cache. These fixtures are labeled in the video. Platform storage and widget details refer to the Flutter implementation.
