Fast lenses — do you know the DISADVANTAGES?

In wildlife photography, fast telephoto lenses are usually in high demand, partly because they allow you to create a soft background and shoot at lower ISO settings. However, fast lenses also have some disadvantages. This is one reason why cheaper, slower zoom lenses are often the better choice (especially for beginners)...
