How to Add Camera Blur Effect on Premiere Pro [NEW]
Premiere Pro does not have a single effect explicitly named "Camera Blur," but the most common way to simulate a shallow depth-of-field or a general camera focus/defocus effect is by using the Gaussian Blur effect in conjunction with masking. To do this, first apply the Gaussian Blur effect from the Effects panel onto your clip, then go to the Effect Controls panel, and under the Gaussian Blur settings, use the Pen or Ellipse/Rectangle tool to draw a mask around the area you want to keep in focus; after creating the mask, click the Inverted box to blur everything outside the mask, then increase the Blurriness to your desired amount and adjust the Mask Feather to soften the edge and make the blur look natural, finally, if your subject is moving, you can use the mask's built-in tracking feature to automatically follow the subject throughout the clip.
