Bhakti rasa and dance have long been intertwined and we are so excited to share Mogal Aave by Jigrra- a folk song paying reverence to Mogal Maa. In this dance, we have taken on the role of story teller, the beloved devotee and also embodying Mogal Maa, our way of sharing love and affection, respect and reverence. We hope you enjoy this piece and the feeling of devotion resonates with you all. She is typically depicted holding a serpent and a sword, and is an embodiment of Shakti 🙏🏽
