browsing Helm presets running on a Raspberry Pi connected to a Digitakt II
Helm synth running on Raspberry pi and being controlled by Digitakt over usb. Both MIDI and audio use USB so I only have that and power connected to the Raspberry PI.
After getting a Raspberry Pi 4b up and running with 64bit Raspberry Pi OS (Debian 12 bookworm)
I added the KXStudio repositories so I could get aarch64 versions of the plugins and host:

I installed Carla as the plugin host because it can run headless and seems lightweight.
Then I installed Helm and created a rack in Carla just for it.
I also set up some CC mapping for the cutoff just to test that out.
The CPU load never went above 70% and I think I could add some optimizations to eliminate the sporadic overruns but its absolutely usable and sounds great here I think
