Sphagnum moss absorbs excess moisture and accumulates many nutrients, which it then shares with plants. During the heating season, hot radiators dry out the air, significantly reducing the humidity needed by houseplants. To maintain this humidity, simply line flower pots with moss and remember to moisten it periodically. You can mulch the soil surface with sphagnum moss to prevent it from drying out too quickly.
