How to Disable Efficiency Mode in Google Chrome on Windows 11 🎯

💡 To disable Efficiency Mode, also known as Memory Saver, in Google Chrome on Windows 11, the process is straightforward. First, launch your Google Chrome browser. In the address bar at the top, type `chrome://settings/performance` and press Enter. This will take you directly to Chrome's Performance settings page. On this page, you will see a section labeled "Memory Saver." Efficiency Mode is essentially what Chrome calls its Memory Saver feature, designed to free up memory from inactive tabs. To turn it off, simply locate the toggle switch next to "Memory Saver" and click it to the "Off" position. Once disabled, Chrome will no longer automatically discard memory from inactive tabs to improve performance, which might be preferable for users who want all their tabs to remain fully loaded and responsive at all times, potentially at the cost of higher RAM usage. This change takes effect immediately without needing to restart the browser.
