How To Fix "unknown error code during application install -24" Error On Google Play Store ?
This Error Happens when your Try to download or Update an App on Play Store .
Method 1: Clear the cache and data of
i) Google Play Store
ii) Google Play Services
iii) Google Services Framework
iv) Download Manager
If you Don't see Google Services Framework or Download Manager,leave it .
v) Remove Your Google Account and Re-Add it again .
If you have more than one google Account Associated,Remove everyone.
Step 1: Go to settings,and then accounts,and then Google
Step 2: Remove your all google(gmail) accounts .
Step 3: Add Your Google Account again .
Step 4: Reboot your Phone and Go to Play Store and Try to download an app.
Method 2: Clear the Cache and data of Contacts and Contacts Storage.
Before Doing this Make Sure you Take Backup of Your Contacts .
Step 1: Allow Installation of Apps from Unknown sources.
Step 2: Go to Google.com and search for "Super Backup App Apk" ,Download it and Install it .
Step 3: Take backup of your Contacts .
Now ,Clear the Cache and data of Contacts and Contacts Storage App
Step 1: Go to Settings .
Step 2: Go to Apps or Application Manager .
Step 3: Go to All Tabs ,Find Contacts Storage and clear it's cache and data .
Method 3:
This method requires your phone to be rooted
If you had installed app before and uninstalled it without clearing it's cache and data ,there might be chance that some files are leftover.
Step 1: Allow Installation of Apps from Unknown sources
Step 2: Go to http://apkmirror.com and Do a search for "ES File Explorer" .Download it and Install it .
Step 3: Enable Root Explorer
Step 4: Go to /device/data/data/ (package Name)
and if you see the folder of the app that you are trying to install ,Just Delete it .
Restart your Phone and Go to Play Store and try to download or update an app .
Method 4:
Step 1. Factory Reset 5 the phone.
Step 2. After ,it's done restoring, Go to google play and try to download/update again the app.
Note: it will ask you if you want to backup of your data/app from google server,
make sure you remove the check. Then proceed proceed to installation .
