This segment of Tat-Stories comes to you from the Golden State Tattoo Expo in Pasadena CA, thanks Nikko and the organizers for the invite.

Our first interview comes from Natasha who was hustling in the Hustlebutter booth. Now Hustlebutter is a tattoo aftercare and long term care product, so thanks to the HB folks for freeing up Natash, who is from Orlando, to talk to us. Natasha let us know she's an artisans collector and she wanted to come to Pasadena to grab some time with people like Carlos Torrez. Now Natasha is sporting one bad ass color piece on her upper arm and she told us it was done a while ago by an artists in Tampa who was just wanting to try a new style. She's sporting twin ink that made us smile. We especially appreciated the tattoo baby portrait that is meant to inspire Natasha as a woman in the tattoo industry - love to her that. Natasha let us know she's digging doing fine line and illustrative right now but she's looking to branch out as her art matures. She closed it out by telling us dad took her for her first tattoo at 17 and mom did not know.

Our second interview is with Martin, a tattoo artists and collector our of Redding California. What caught our eye? Martin doing an epic leg piece on himself. Marin let us know he got his first tattoo and decided he could do that so he handed in his regular life card for the tattoo life and are we glad he did. His favorite work is realism and his favorite piece is on his wife Hillary - he could not tell us anyone else - no way. Bottom line - this man can throw down some epic ink - even on himself when he's bored.
