Section of Portal North Bridge is ferried down Hudson River
A section of the pre-assembled arch that will make up the Portal North Bridge was ferried down the Hudson River by tugboats on Tuesday, November 19. The $2 billion Portal Bridge North project will replace the 114-year-old bridge that carries the busy Northeast Corridor rail line over the Hackensack River in Kearny.
