How To Format A Table With Many Columns In MS Word - Change Cell Margins - Fitting Excel On 1 Page
In this video, I talk about a simple trick that I learned with using tables with many columns in Microsoft Word. This might be useful if you copy a table with too many columns from MS Excel to Word, or just simply a big Excel table to Word.
How do you fit an Excel Spreadsheet with too many columns into Word? You have to change the Word margin settings for its tables. Simply by changing the margins to zero allows you to much better control the size, and how the text is displayed in each table.
This simple trick works very well with large tables with many columns. What ends up happening without changing the margins is that the columns get displayed outside of the page margins.
