Samsung odyssey G9 black screen fix (temporary)
This is a handy trick to get your monitor on when all else fails with the G9 49” monitors. If the monitor is left off for long periods of time, on or off, you may get a black screen with a backlight but no visible display. Heating the screen or just heating the room may override what is happening to your monitor. No this is not a true fix, it is temporary. However, it is a cheap workaround that works more often than not. For those that want to a more permanent solution contact the manufacturer or your local repair shop and tell them you’re potentially having issues with your units thermistor.
