This is a basic visual aid for players of Mass Effect Legendary Edition (ME1). I am playing on an XBox Series S, but hopefully this will work for all consoles. There is an issue once you reach a certain level in the game, specifically when gaining experience points on Therum using the save, load, repeat method to rapidly advance one's levels. As long as you don't not exceed Level 30/60, depending on your settings being either Classic or Legendary Mode; you are still capable of utilizing your experience points. First, of course choose and load a save point. Next, go to your Mission Computer (pause menu), select Options, select Gameplay, change Auto Level-Up to Squad and Player and change Level Scaling to Classic Mode. Next, simply back out to your Mission Computer menu screen. Squad will more than likely now be highlighted or flashing. You can either choose to accept the auto level-up choices made for you or load any previous save point. Reloading the save point will restore the options to their previous state. If you wish to continue gaining experience points to achieve Level 60 change the Gameplay Options Level Scaling to Classic Mode. This will restore your experience points so you can continue gaining them. You may also now select Squad and depending on your new level, probably 59, select what abilities you wish to spend your points on and continue playing from there. I hope this is as discriptive and worded as simply as possible. It's a bit lengthy, but directions aren't made for those who don't really need them. Just be happy I didn't start with place thumb and forefinger on your controller like is required when writing manuals. I figured if you are a gamer, especially one that plays RPG's like this one, you're more than sharp enough to get this. The video is however the first I've ever made and didn't plan it. It's just late, I figured this out and thought it may help someone that was as frustrated with it as I was. Anyway, if I learn anything interesting or new I might post again one day. Until then, happy gaming and be kind to each other. Life is so much better when it doesn't suck. 😁🖖🏼
