Buying foods at a discount is a great way to feed your family for less. BUT, sometimes it causes the pantry and freezer to swell past their limits!
This week I continued working through these pantry items so I can use them wisely while still having good meals my family will enjoy!
Summer is HERE and I need #easymeals to get me through the busy nights, but I certainly don't want to just waste all this food that I have already bought! So, these meals were all really easy but also helped me work through my surplus ingredients!

Feeding our families on a #budget is HARD! But, these meal ideas are going to get the job done AND keep everyone happy!

Chicken Salad
4 C chicken, shredded
1/2-2/3 C mayonaise
2 apples, chopped
1/4 C cranberries
1/4 relish (or chopped pickles)
1/4 slivered almonds
2 TBS lemon juice
2 TBS sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients together and mix well.
