💧 The filament that disappears with water 😱
Yes, you read that right: this material dissolves upon contact with water,
and thanks to that… I didn't lose a single client. 💼
-
🎲 It all started with a magic D&D die.
My friend wanted one just like the original,
but it was impossible to print without supports.
💔 Every attempt ended with it being broken 💔 or covered in marks.
-
🧩 The idea:
😩 Use support materials that don't stick to the model.
It seemed perfect…
until the supports got stuck 😩
and ruined the whole project.
-
💧 The solution:
✨ I discovered water-soluble supports (PVA, BVOH, etc.).
They print the same as PLA,
but then you simply dissolve them with water.
✨ Result: Clean, smooth, and damage-free parts.
-
🧠 Technical information:
They're ideal for complex geometries or parts with internal cavities.
🌱 Plus, they're biodegradable
and work perfectly in Bambu Lab printers.
-
🙏 Special thanks:
Thanks to @ProyectoColor
and @BambuLab for making this experiment possible
with their incredible printing precision. 🖤

💬 Have you tried soluble filaments yet?
