Joe's only collaboration with the great Roy Eldridge... Roy spends most of the time singing standards, so his trumpet work is limited. Regardless, this is a nice swinging set with several notable Joe Pass contributions. On 'Makin' Whoopee', Joe comps through Roy's verses and takes a solo at 2:45.
