The famous "Curse of Labonte," as he burns a rock in the final end of the 1972 World Championships, allowing Canada's Orest Meleschuk to escape with an extra end victory. Canada does not win another men's championship until 1980, when Rick Folk finally breaks "The Curse.".....and we were there.
