Bleed has made a huge comeback in Elden Ring PATCH 1.10, due to the poise changes of weapons and ashes of war. Hyper-armor, multi-hit oriented ashes of war have ENORMOUS synergy with bleed now, due to guaranteed hits, possible thanks to the patch changes. Ranni The Witch tells you all about it.
Bleed has always had a history of being extremely strong, particularly thanks to its stun, and the fact that damage was much more prominent in the game before. It was nerfed in patch 1.06 and 1.07, along with Rivers of Blood, but it has seen a comeback with the most recent patch: an indirect buff thanks to the patch changes.
