An Effective Solver for Solving Nonlinear Constrained Optimization Problems
Hello everyone, in this video, I’m going to show you an effective solver for solving nonlinear constrained optimization problems. This optimization solver is very effective and very easy to use. The optimization solver I’m talking about is the ‘fmincon’ solver in Matlab. Here is the interface of the solver. It’s very easy to use. We just need to put the objective function, start point, and constraints in these highlighted sections. The rest will be automatically handled by the solver.
In this video, I’m going to use 7 case studies to cover 7 possible scenarios when we use ‘fmincon’ solver to solve various types of nonlinear constrained optimization problems. Let’s see.
