WCW are currently gearing up for their Starrcade 2000 pay per view and this show furthers a few storylines for that particular event. The show opens with Ric Flair suspending Scotty Steiner and removing the World Championship away from Big Poppa Pump, however Ric has a sudden change of heart after hearing from Arn Anderson. Bill Goldberg competes in the main event but he gets distracted when his Starrcade opponent (Lex Luger) shows up on the entranceway, and we've got in-ring action from Alex Wright, Mike Sanders, Team Canada and the Natural Born Thrillers.
