‘Ambitious’ (Short Film)
Shot on the Sony PMW-F5, Xeen Cinema Lenses.
Ambitious was a small project I came up with on the fly to display my cinematography skills and work on them. The big thing about this project was challenging myself and my own ability.
I set out to complete pre-production and the shoot within a week, which was successful, but a location suddenly changed their mind two days before the shoot, which meant I had a re-write, then a long night of changing some of the shot list, camera plans, and lighting plans.
Overall I appreciate the opportunity to develop and show my cinematography skills. I think as a director I lacked some coverage, as well as successfully paying off the twist at the end, which are all things I can work on.
