Mi-17 takeoff in Lukla
For some reason this video is going a little bit viral, and a lot of people are subscribing for no reason... If you think this channel is dedicated to videos of Indian helicopters taking off in Lukla, you will be a little bit disappointed...
Also, scanning through the comments makes me think that the gene pool in both India and Nepal could use a little bit of chlorine, because, holy crap, are some of you struggling out there...
Indian Air Force sent this Mi-17 as part of Operation Maitri (2015 Nepal Earthquake relief). Seen here the fully loaded Mi-17 takes off down the steep slope of the Lukla Airport, often labeled as one of the most dangerous airstrips in the world.
