Today we delve ever deeper into the kinetics of gases, and ask the question: how fast are the molecules of a gas, and how likely is it that they travel at a given speed? To answer that question, we'll need some Calculus, and we'll end up with an equation that is absolutely crucial for our understanding of kinetics: the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution!
