How to Disable McAfee AntiVirus - A Step-by-Step Guide
For Mac:
If you have installed McAfee Software on your Mac, then follow the instructions given below to uninstall it:
Open Terminal and enter the following commands, and hit the Return key:
sudo/Library/McAfee/cma/scripts/uninstall.ch (for 5.0 or later versions)
sudo/Library/McAfee/sma/scripts/uninstall.ch (for 4.8 or later versions)
For Windows:
Open Windows Settings by pressing Win + I keys.
Select Apps as shown in the picture below.

Select McAfee from the list of installed apps and click on the Uninstall option. Follow the on screen prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

Open Run dialog box by pressing Win + R keys o your keyboard.
Enter %AppData% in the dialog box and press the Run dialog box and press Enter key.

Select the McAfee folder and click on the Delete button.
