Prestashop Customer File Upload Module
Prestashop Customer File Upload module enables customers to upload files during the order placement process on an online store, enhancing its functionality. For products that involve customization or personalization, the administrator can enable the file upload option. This is done by adjusting product settings to allow customers to upload files when they proceed to checkout.
When a customer selects a product that permits file uploads, they encounter an upload section during the checkout process. This section allows them to upload files like design files or images relevant to their order customization.
Store administrators can define settings such as allowed file types (e.g., images, documents), maximum file sizes, and the server location where uploaded files will be stored. Admin can also select products on which upload option becomes available, and admin can also select the customer groups.
Once an order is confirmed, the uploaded files are associated with that specific order. Both customers and administrators can access this information. The module provides administrators with the ability to preview or download files from the backend. Customers can access and download their uploaded files from their account on the website.
