Dr. Charles Stanley has been gracing the airways with his "In Touch" MInistries since
1982. He has always credited his faith to his mother - who raised him as a single parent after his father suddenly died at the age of 29 - when he was only 9 months old.
He tells often of his "godly mother who taught me the love of God." She worked two jobs to support them and although he grew up poor she taught him; "Do the very best you can, and God will take care of the rest." He followed her advice and now he is watched and heard in every nation each week.
