We achieved satisfactory results when performing the slalom and dodge maneuvers with the front-wheel-drive Nissan X-Trail. Its response was generally safe, predictable, and easily controllable, and the entry speed into the first cone lane was high.
However, there were occasional pronounced oversteer errors during the dodge, which required some attention to correct the trajectory, but it was never critical.
The 2017 Nissan X-Trail is a slight refresh of the 2014 model. It features aesthetic changes (both exterior and interior) and features previously unavailable equipment. Like the previous model, it has a body measuring 4.64 meters in length and can accommodate five or seven seats.
It is available in a price range from €25,800 for the 1.6 DIG-T 163 hp Visia version to €42,200 for the 2.0 dCi 177 hp X-Tronic Tekna version. Seven-seat versions require an additional outlay of between €400 and €1,450, depending on the equipment level selected.
