Here's the my music video "Life Support" about my travels through Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
After 4 hours of nonstop (very challenging) off-roading I had finally arrived at this notoriously hard-to-reach and super magical place.
Well, not really magical, it felt more as if I'm exploring another planet. I was somewhere in the middle of nowhere at the border of Arizona and Utah. No cell phone reception, my GPS had failed me and all I was left with was a compass - yes a compass. :-)
No-one around, not a soul and then there was this almost unsettling silence and absence of any kind of sound.
Usually there's a bird bird chirping or a plane above or something - but there was absolutely nothing - all I heard was the crunching sound my shoes made from rubbing against the soft and fragile sandstone.
I'm glad I was able to experience this, the memories I have from this trip are absolutely priceless and now I get to share it with you. Hope you enjoy!
Trip summary:
6 days, 1100 miles driven, 4 states visited, 532GB of content filmed, tons of off-roading at night, 34h of driving, 32 miles of hiking and walking, 6 delicious home-cooked pasta meals, (definitely) not enough sleep, waterfalls, an ATV ride, a helicopter ride, 2 drone crashes, countless hours of staring at canyons, 7h getting soaked, Four 3am wake-up calls, copious amounts of chocolate consumed, 1 amazing trip.
