Split Lokotrack crushes rocks deep down in the Semmering Base Tunnel, Austria
Getting a Lokotrack jaw plant weighing over 40 tonnes down to a 400-meter-deep tunnel using just a narrow shaft may sound like an impossible mission. Metso took this challenge, and engineered and built the world’s first split LT106E, which is now crushing at full speed the rocks extracted from the Semmering Base Tunnel, a railway tunnel in Austria. http://www.metso.com/showroom
