Gavin and I try out the front car of the all-new Firebird roller coaster at Six Flags America. We ride the front car to give you a premium front seat POV shot of the coaster and then we give our honest rating of the Maryland's only floorless roller coaster.. Here's the description from the Six Flags website:
Two exhilarating state-of-the-art sit-down floorless trains will glide smooth as silk and run smoother and faster at a top speed of 56 mph, along a 2,900-foot track. As the experience unfolds, Firebird will take riders on a 9-story drop followed by two inversions, carousel and corkscrew turns, a twisted airtime hill and a figure-eight finale before returning to the ride platform.
And a little more info:
The roller coaster had originally debuted in 1990 as a stand-up roller coaster named Iron Wolf at Six Flags Great America. It was later relocated to Six Flags America in 2012 and renamed Apocalypse, under which it operated until 2018.
Opened: May 3, 2019
Height: 100′
Max speed: 55 mph
I'm Jon Morgan and I like to make videos with my family and friends. We like to have fun and enjoy life. I make a variety of videos, that's why I call it Morgan Madness.
Here's a list of the main types of videos that we create:
Family Fun, Roller Coasters, and Theme Parks,
Outdoor projects (like burying our trampoline in the backyard),
How-to and fix-it videos,
Experiments and Challenges,
Quadcopters and Rockets,
Campfire cooking, and Yummy food!
That's not to say that I won't post videos on other random things. I post videos most every week... so watch a few, and if you like them, please subscribe and share them with your friends! Let me know which ones you like the most and I'll make more like them.
Welcome the Madness!
