Four Mile on a windy October day, shot from near the cliffs
Here’s a video I filmed yesterday (Oct. 17, 2024) during my lunch break at Four Mile Beach, just north of Santa Cruz.
It was quite sizable, however the wind made the waves unpredictable and a little soft. However it was still a lot cleaner than you might expect.
When I came back later, the swell had dropped, but it definitely was quite a bit crisper.
