HOMEMADE TAHO
-A beloved snack and healthy morning breakfast in the Philippines
HEALTH BENEFITS: SOY MILK (main ingredient)
-Good source of protein
-Helps lose weight
-Reduce levels of bad cholesterol
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of SOY MILK
1 tbsp of UNFLAVORED GELATIN POWDER
3/4 BROWN SUGAR
VANILLA ESSENCE
STEP 1 (TAHO)
-1/4 cup of hot water
-1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
-Stir well until dissolved
-Pour 2 cups of soy milk
-Stir for few minutes then add the gelatin mixture
-Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then pour to any container
-Set aside until firm texture
STEP 2 ( TAHO SYRUP)
-3/4 cups of water and brown sugar
-Add few drops of vanilla essence
-Stir over medium heat until it turns dark
STEP 3 (TAPIOCA PEARLS)
-3 cups of water
-Add 1/2 cup of tapioca pearls in boiling water
-Cook until it turns clear/ transparent
-Mix some syrup to the cooked tapioca
STEP 4 (ASSEMBLE THE INGREDIENTS)

-Tapioca
-Syrup
