Get to know the history behind Starlite Ferries.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Starlite Ferries, Inc. (Starlite), incorporated on 9 January 1995, is one of the dominant shipping companies in the Batangas to Caticlan trade lanes. The Company has established itself as the main choice of passengers due to its thrust because of it being customer-focused and providing safe, comfortable, and environment-friendly marine transport service in the region. Starlite takes pride in consistently securing certification for compliance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code from the International Maritime Organization since 2001.
At present, Starlite vessels are domestically classified by the Philippine Register of Shipping, Inc. and by Orient Register of Shipping, Inc. Starlite’s newly-built vessels, on the other hand, are classified by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, an international organization that provides certification and classification services to 20% of the world’s fleet.
