You’ve done it! You have amazing blog posts that everyone is loving. And a funnel that is converting. Problem is, people coming to the blog are not signing up for the opt in. Oh the calamity!!! There are several ways to help people learn about your opt in and all the amazingness you have to offer them. We’ve talked before about whether or not to add a pop up to your website, so today we will talk about other places you can put your opt in on your website.
Add an announcement bar
An announcement bar is a little bar on top of your website that alerts your readers to new exciting things going on with your blog. There are several plugins that can do this and some themes already are equipped to have this as well. Sumo is a plugin that can add this to your website easily.
Place a sign-up form in the middle of the post
By adding the sign-up form or button directly in the content, it makes it easy for the ready to pop in their information and take advantage of your amazing opt-in. Again this can be done manually in each post or you can use sumo to create this automatically on all your blog posts.
Link to your opt-in at the end of the content
This is done manually on each post. At the end of your post (just as you see below) hyperlink to your opt-in landing page with an enticing question. This also has amazing SEO benefits for you as it counts as an inbound post which google loves. In this video, I am going to show you how to add these all to your website.
