Best Friend
hey wait a minute what just happened here
I thought our problems had disappeared
we're back to fixing and fighting and fucking shit up
still struggling to learn that this thing we're calling love
we can't defend
I'm sorry for what I did to you
holed-up for days in the other room
I had plenty to say but was feeling blue
worrying wondering about me and you
my best friend
One day the clouds will disappear
and you and I won't live 'round fear
back to dancing and singing and cutting it up
laughing at ourselves for acting so tough
until the end
La da da
la da da
da da
da da da da dah
