Mass Madness in the Mountains of Khamar-Daban
Khamar Daban mountain range is located in Southern Siberia. And there's...absolutely nothing special about it. Except for the fact, that in August of 1993 a group of 7 experienced hikers faced a very quick and mysterious demise while traveling through it. 6 of them suddenly lost their minds and passed away in the matter of minutes one after another. Only one 17-year old girl managed to survive this trip and then refused to talk about it for almost 26 years. This case is very bizarre, but not quite unique - there are lots of similarities with another hiking incident that happened 30 years before that one. And, of course, I'm talking about the Dyatlov Pass Incident. Today we will discuss the story told by Valentina Utochenko, the only survivor from Lyudmila Korovina's hiking group.
