Why is a product vision so important and how do you help a product owner craft one?
As a scrum master, it's your role and responsibility to help create environments where your team can excel. To create a high-performance team that collaborate effectively, you need them to be inspired, motivated and engaged.
So, how do you do that?
Vision.
A strong vision for the product and a compelling purpose that inspires the team is vital to high-performance and strong collaboration.
The team need to believe there's a really good reason for the product to exist and they need to have their purpose clearly articulated and expressed for them to believe in that purpose.
So, what do you do if your product owner hasn't crafted a product vision and hasn't articulated why the product matters to customers and stakeholders?
Easy. You need to get involved and coach the product owner.
Easier said than done.
