"The Color Purple" Shoots Statewide in Georgia
Director Blitz Bazawule, producer Oprah Winfrey and other members of the production team detail shooting statewide for "The Color Purple." Starting on Jekyll Island's Driftwood Beach, the production moved through Savannah, Atlanta, Grantville, Covington, Whitesburg, Stone Mountain and Marble Hill.
