We visit the fantastic summer holiday resort of Blackpool for a quick walk, heading up from the promenade and North Pier through the town centre to Winter Gardens and Abingdon Street Market.
A Towering Inspiration: Blackpool Tower was inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It's a testament to the town's ambition and love for grand architecture.
A Colorful Celebration: The Blackpool Illuminations are one of the world's largest free light shows, attracting millions of visitors each year. They've been dazzling crowds since 1879!
A Dancing Mecca: Blackpool is renowned for its ballroom dancing scene. The Blackpool Dance Festival is one of the most prestigious competitions in the world, attracting dancers from all corners of the globe.
A Pier-fect Day: Blackpool is the only seaside resort in the UK with three piers. Each offers unique attractions, from amusement arcades and shows to restaurants and bars.
A Comedy Carpet: Blackpool's Comedy Carpet is the world's largest outdoor comedy museum. It features quotes from famous comedians, making it a fun and informative experience for visitors.
