J.L. Leffler started Leffler Custom Rods in college with the simple dream of paying his bills doing what he loved. Since then his company has grown into one of the most recognizable names in the rod building industry. He's taught rod building to up-in-comers and veteran builders alike. He's built rods for hobbyists to serious commercial fisherman, and even celebrities. The fish caught on his rods have set records and won tournaments.
Through it all J.L. stays humble, remains passionate, and most important of all, keeps building.
